Espresso Moon has worked with Nucor for years, providing consulting on digitalization strategy and business process improvement, plus custom software products to support operations on many levels.

New Product Engineering and Design Software: Espresso Moon designed and developed a comprehensive custom software application that lets sales, engineering, metallurgy, manufacturing and quality departments all collaborate on development, product costing and delivery of new products requested by customers.

Safety Housekeeping Inspection Software: We also created a custom digital product that supports the process of scheduling housekeeping audits, recording audit findings and notifying stakeholders throughout the organization.

Consulting and Design: Espresso Moon has helped Nucor evaluate, select, implement and support a number of Information Management Systems (IMS) software applications over several years, in multiple locations. We have also designed specifications for software concepts related to safety, quality and process management, including a tracking program using RFID technology to manage and maintain safety assets such as fire extinguishers, safety harnesses and other equipment.
