Story:

The Gourmet Cupboard is a network marketing company that sells handmade gourmet food mixes through a large nationwide organization of individual distributors. The company must manage all aspects of the network marketing structure, in addition to creating the mixes that the agents sell. The amount of data involved in recruiting and supporting distributors, tracking downlines, selling and shipping product and applying sales to responsible parties is immense. The company’s old system was straining under the weight of the network and needed revamping to optimize operating profit.

Solution:

We were tapped to create a custom e-commerce web solution that gives access and control of particular aspects of the business model to different individuals within the organization. Corporate employees fulfill customer orders and manage the network, while individual distributors build their networks, sell product and access reporting of their own revenues.
